Upholstery cleaning is an art in of itself. Variability is what makes cleaning upholstery and carpeting an art. Upholstery comes in different shapes and sizes. The material varies dramatically as well, whether it is Haitian cotton or a polyester blend. Differences in shape, size and material requires a wealth of knowledge, and a different cleaning method and approach. Our team will take time to determine what material you have and how it needs be cleaned. This process ensures the best, safest and cleanest results possible. Additionally, when determining what type of fabric will be cleaned we also determine what green cleaning process is best for cleaning the specific upholstery. For example, when couch cleaning the cost of the workmanship is directly related to what textile cloth is used on the sofa. Natural fibers such as cotton, linen and wool need a specific cleaning process to ensure the integrity of the fibers. However, polyester blends and nylon yarn are synthetic and are more resilient to cleaning detergents. Our price always includes all green cleaning products necessary.

When deciding on what type of cleaning process to use there are two options: steam cleaning and dry cleaning. Bare in mind that both the steam cleaning upholstery process and the dry cleaning upholstery process have their place in the industry. Both furniture cleaning methods come with pros and cons. Though the steam cleaning couch process is the number one choice, there is a lot to be said about the dry foam process. With many pieces of furniture out there, some due not fare well when exposed to water. In these instances the dry cleaning process may be best.

Other factors that affect the cleaning method include the possibility of shrinkage, color fastness, the location of the textile being cleaned or drying time. Sometimes, drying time can be of great concern. As far as drying time, we will consult with you to determine which process fits your needs best. For example, if in the early morning we use the traditional steam cleaning process to clean your furnishings, they will be dried by early afternoon. If the drying time is an issue or material to be cleaned requires the dry cleaning process, then drying time is about one hour after completion. After the cleaning process is concluded we leave behind no residual dirt or shampoo with either process, so your fine furnishings stay cleaner longer. Each process has its pros and cons, and our job is to make sure that you walk away happy with your carpet and upholstery cleaning needs met. We will determine which process will work best with your particular piece of furniture and recommend the best way to proceed.
When it comes to pricing furniture to be cleaned we offer a free no obligation estimate. CCI also offer's the free proposal with the option to clean after the assessment. Our service hours are Monday through Saturday with evening and weekend hours available. No matter how we price it we have you, the customer, always in mind.
Has there been a red wine emergency? Or a marinara spill on the new white carpet. You may think that a store bought spot cleaner is the easy and cheap answer. However, store bought cleaners are often a guaranteed way of making the stain situation worse. When purchasing a spot remover from a local store the store bought remover is manufactured to clean a general variety of textile cloths. This makes it easy to damage a natural fabric yarn because it is not specialized and often has harsh chemicals. Another common problem with store bought spot cleaners is the appearance of a dark mark after the stain is cleaned. Before you grab the nearest cleaner from your local convenience store, please check out our carpet stain removal guide. We are also more than happy to help you over the phone with your particular problem stain. Fixing the stain the right way the first time often makes life, and stain removal, easier.
